PIER PRESSURE PAYS OFF AS WHITNEY GIRLS LIFT U13 GIRLS TITLE

WHITNEY PIER'S U13 Girls won a keenly contested Soccer Cape Breton League Play-Off Final against Victoria County to clinch the Provincial slot at Ness Timmons Field on Sunday.

Goals from Ariah Sheppard and Ella Rose Standing were enough to secure a 2-0 win for the Pier team who are guided by experienced Head Coach Ryan De Giobbi.

Congratulations to the Pier! Sunday marked another landmark day in a big summer for gifted striker Sheppard, Ariah was also on target for the CAPERS Academy Division Team in the 
Winsloe Charlottetown Royal tournament Final last month to secure the trophy for her team that day.
