CAPERS Academy have launched a new club partnership with Moncton club CS Dieppe that will begin with them hosting a U15AAA Boys double-header this weekend.
The matches on the CBU Campus on Saturday (2.15pm ko) and Sunday (10am ko) will either be on Ness Timmons Field or in the CBU Dome dependent on the weather.
And the winning team on aggregate over the two games will lift the new Friendship Cup (pictured above) with MVPs from each club also being picked by the opposing coaching staff.
CAPERS will reciprocate the Dieppe visit this summer when they travel to Moncton for their partner club's tournament with the U15s and U17s Girls and Boys teams.
CS Dieppe Technical Director Damian Dyke said: "We are thrilled to have established this partnership with the CAPERS Academy and look forward to seeing how it can develop over the coming years.
"It's great to have the CAPERS teams coming to our tournament in June and we look forward to both sides getting an ideal warm-up for the new season this weekend."
